When Is My Credit Card Charged

Machine Parts Toolbox charges a credit card when the part or parts actually ship.

We charge the credit card when your order actually ships to you and not before.  When an order is placed either by you online or a MPT technician it will generate an "order notification" email, we only place an authorization at this point on the credit card.  No transactions take place. 

The authorization only places a hold for 30 days on the card for the approximate amount.  When your order ships and you receive a "shipment notification" email, the card will then be charged and an "invoice notification" email will follow.  At that point the credit card has been officially charged the correct amount for your order.
